She plays so happy in the rain.
Without one carefree afternoon, her innocence you might have slain.
She smiles and cries. Her hands lift to the air,
And as you watch, she does one thing no good child would ever dare.
She stops and waves at a passing man,
Who depresses the brake, and opens the door of his windowless van.
You sprint outside and gather her up,
Crushing her to your chest, her little hands feeling your heart say "lup-dup."
